Breakfast Burritos... with Sriracha.

Yesterday, I decided to make a bunch of breakfast burritos to freeze so I have myself some morning yumminess. Holy crap these are good... so I'm sharing:

6 slices Thick Cut bacon, fried & chopped up
Sautee some onions & peppers
8 eggs whisked up with a splash of water, salt & pepper, Sriracha to taste and just barely cooked (you'll re-heat so don't overcook)
Assemble on large soft flour tortillas... egg, bacon crumbles, salsa, and shredded cheese.
Wrap up, Saran wrap, Freezer.

This made me 8 burritos. The Sriracha & Salsa just make them heavenly.

    Yes, plus don't forget to account for the moisture in the bacon. I'm sure that's water.

    And this is the first time I've EVER had Sriracha *hangs head in shame*

    scrambled eggs with sausage, spinach, pepperjack cheese, mushrooms, peppers, sriracha and avocado.. yum.

    I hope you're kidding... it's liquid amazement.

    Anyway, I like that sriracha mixes with nearly anything. Barbecue sauce? Yup. Steak sauce? That too. Buffalo wing sauce - hell yes.

    OP - great idea on the making a big batch. I'll have to try that.

    I was just getting ready to make breakfast burritos tomorrow! I do have a question. What the heck is Sriracha? Is it a pepper? I have heard of it but never really saw anything. I am trying to make healthier to go breakfasts for hubby.

    My wife just told me that a local pizza place just added a sriracha sauce flavor to their chicken wings. Will be trying soon.

    Thanks, I am from SE TX and we have literally hundreds of different hot sauces in our stores.

    Pizza, chicken wings and sirracha in the same sentence???? This is the post of the year. You need to report back after trying those wings with a full review please.

    Well, I tried them. I didn't like them at all. It's like they just dumped half a bottle over the wings.

    I've made my wing sauce at home with sriracha as a base with other stuff and it always comes out great.
