net calories

Hello everyone!

I was hoping to find out what worked better in your experience.

I have recently been reading lots of posts about eating ALL the net calories. What I have been doing until now is aiming for the 1300 MFP gives me, and not eating extra with exercise. It's worked and I'm currently maintaining but not losing.

Did you find it more helpful to eat all the net cals for the day when you reached a wall?

MFP sets your 1300 calories with the weight loss deficit you chose, .5,1,or 2 lbs. That's why you're supposed to eat your exercise calories back. At 2lb loss settings that's 1000 calories that have been removed already. Not eating those back makes your deficit too large.
