Just wondering how the rest of you set your goals. I have lost 26 pounds so far since the end of January and first started by putting my ultimate goal weight in there. However, since then I have changed it to smaller goals. (10 pounds at a time) I have 100 pounds to lose and it seems to help my self esteem when I reach that 10 pound goal.

I do like mini-goals. When the long term goal is so far away they give something to work towards and celebrate. I did the first 5 lbs, 5%, 10%, 25lbs, 50 lbs, 75 lbs etc. I find it motivating to see how far I've come.0
