I got called out of my small town for a week, non stop travel and suitcase. With access to large, and free breakfasts and lunches, which I normally skip or replace with coffee - as well as all the foods Phoenix has to offer and I looooove to indulge in. I gained 7 pounds. How do you gain 7 pounds in a week?!?!
Ugh.
So chew me out, I can't believe I undid 3 weeks worth of work in one week.

Drink lots and lots of water over the next 2-3 days; hopefully most of that is just salt retention. Try weighing back in on Thursday after you have flushed your system.

I dont think you really can gain that much in that short of time. I bet it goes down drastically in the first 2-3 days you're back on track. I went to Orlando (Disney) for a week (about 2 weeks ago). I did tons of walking, but I also ate a huge breakfast and a huge dinner each day- way more than my standard 1300-1400 cals.
Got home and weighed 5lbs. more than when I left. But the next morning, down 2. The next morning, down 2.5 more. I think it was all the salt in the prepared foods (restaurants are famous for that!) and the bloat from flying and just being 'out of routine'. Give yourself 3 or 4 days of doing your normal routine-- you'll drop 'em fast (I bet!)

    Good luck!

Some of it is probably water weight, but depending on what you ate, probably not all of it. Just take it as a lesson and move on.

OOOOh you've made me feel so much better! I figured "so I gain a pound or two, I'll loose it back really fast!" I wanted to just quit when I got on the scale, I was so upset. Back to water! My boyfriend will be glad too, he gained about the same haha.
