Best time to workout?

I know the best time to work out is...whenever you will do it. But that being said, I read In Tracy Riefkinds book "The Swing" that you should definitely workout before meals. I have to workout after work because my daughters do the kettlebell workouts with me. We usually workout about an hour after dinner. Am I stalling my progress working out after dinner?

I don't think you're stalling your loss by working out after dinner. There have been studies about fasted training, but I don't think it's enough of a benefit that it will sabotage your weight loss efforts or anything. Plenty of people work out after eating, and continue to lose weight.0

it is best to TRY and do the workouts in morning before breakfast and if can or/and want to between breakfast and lunch. this is because if you do it before your day the rest of your day you are being active with other stuff. if you do it after dinner than you are not that active0

If I need to eat, I try to keep it light. A serving of raw almonds is my go to snack if I'm hungry and headed out the door to exercise.0
