Fitbit Caloric Adjustment

I'm new to MFP and I was wondering about the above topic. My fitbit and MFP account are linked. Fitbit does adjust the calories. Does it mean for me to consume that caloric adjustment or should I just stick to the caloric intake if it's not adjusted?

Yes, you can use them all.
Or leave some for a rainy day.

Yep, because if you have a positive adjustment, then you were more active than MFP thinks. So to keep the same deficit and not end up with to large of one you want to eat some, if not all of the calories it gives.

    For example:

    May 4

    Fitbit burn: 2282
    MFP estimated burn: 2062
    Thats a 220 calorie difference.
I have a custom goal set that gives me a deficit of 365 calories.

    Eat Goal + 220 calories = same 365 deficit
Eat goal (and ignore adjustment) = 585 deficit

I don't want to create to much of a deficit. I want weight to come off at a steady rate, so that I don't end up with a lot of loose skin. Also creating too much of a deficit can cause health problems down the road.

Thank you so much! Btw, I'm not looking to create too much of a deficit...mainly because I know my body well enough to know that I would feel too hungry. Fitbit has added about 1300 calories for me today.
