I have been doing this for 7 months. Not aware 1200 cals was too low I lost approx. 2 pounds a week for my first 40 pounds. The last 10 have been very slow and I am stuck for weeks at a time. Here is my data: 5'9" 210 and 47 year old female. Upped my calories to 1500 end of March. My BMR is 1666 with a Tdee of 2000 sedentary. Fitbit shows average calorie usage as 2300 calories per day(includes all exercise). If I eat at BMR (1666) that is generally the same as TDEE - 20%(1600). My understanding is I don't eat back exercise cals. Is this correct? I have done a lot of reading on this site and still find this confusing.

In my opinion, you should always at least net your BMR and eat back exercise calories. BMR is your basic bodily needs to function without any regular daily activity. Maybe try TDEE - 15 or even 10%0
