This was the first pic I saw that was taken after I had my daughter. It had been 3 months since I had given birth and it was the first pic I saw where I could not use "Well I'm pregnant" or "I JUST had a baby" as an excuse. I was horrified. This pic was on my fridge for a long time. I hated this pic so much that every time I wanted to over-eat and I saw it hanging there I could not bare to cheat.
WOW such a difference! you look amazing! xxx0 -

These were taken at my sister's wedding a year ago. I've yo-yoed a bit since then but I'm about the same weight there as I am now.
The huge arm and giant mid section in the first picture is rough, but the double chin in the second was a killer. I love my face and don't want to lose it.
You look beautiful despite the weight honey.
Agreed!0 -
I always thought I carried my weight pretty well. Here I am at my heaviest and lightest:
But it wasn't until I took this "before weight training" pic that I ever felt truly fat. I was 4 pounds lighter than I am right now.

Here we go .... Ugh. I have a picture in my swimsuit, but I won't share that

I'm real thick but luckily didn't catch belly fat until i hit around 200 - all in my legs, butt and arms... This woman looks small, do thin women like this really get bellies like that or is this more like baby weight. It seems weird to see only weight in the stomach and no where else.
this is what plagues me. The rest of my body looks fairly "thin" but 95% of my weight gain is in my midsection. Very frustrating.0 -
I was 152 in those pictures0 -
More than 40 pounds ago not long after the birth of our first kid. Sympathy weight?
Woot! BHM alert.0 -
No such picture exists for me. Someone points a camera at me and I hide, run, or tell em to fook off.0

Found a hideous non flattering one! Can really see it in my face. I was so distraught with this photo.
I think it means a lot when we can post pictures of ourselves like this. It means we have moved on and accepted that we were/are fat and we are doing something!0 -

Lol. I do have some somewhere in the depths of my hard drive. It took me until age 21 to turn into a swan. lol :P Thank you for the compliments. You have all made my day.0 -

The belly is the first place fat goes on me. I have had so many of those moments.
I don't have my "Oh, crap" picture here, but I will get it soon from my boyfriend's mom. I asked her to burn it but I'm pretty sure she didn't comply with my wishes.0 -
This was my sister's wedding in 2002. I was 295. Holy crap was I huge. Took me a few years after that to really get started... but this was definitely the picture that did it.0 -
(I'm the one in the middle)
I had already lost half of my weight when joining MFP. I knew I was fat wayyy before that picture but had no motivation to lose it because I had really bad depression. I'm pretty sure I had social anxiety where I couldn't go in public without panicking and always had to have someone with me. It wasn't just losing weight that gave me deliverance but it was getting my heart right with Jesus. I've never been the same0 -

This first picture is from Summer 2008, I was 14 I think, I gained a good 30lbs that summer right after my parents initial split just before my first year of high school. I seriously can't remember much of that year because it was so depressing
This is 2010, I only stepped on a scale maybe once a month because I was so depressed about my increasing weight, I maintained between 165 - 183 from 2010 til I got my butt into gear last March.
This is 2011 shortly after turning 18 (11/19), on Thanksgiving day, my face was losing shape and getting round.
I beyond hate this pic from last September, it's what got me started on MFP in October.
And now, I've lost 33lbs so far, from my HW 183 to my CW 150, I have another 25 - 30lbs to go but I'm feeling darn confident already, got this bikini from Old Navy. Sadly I've only lost a couple inches around my belly so far so it's what keeps me pushing.
It took me a long time (4 years) to finally put effort into losing weight and being healthy again but I'm glad I did. And if you quote me take out most of the pictures so the thread doesn't get annoying to scroll through since I have 5 here0 -

Dec 25, 2011 - weight unknown
Although I think this is probably the picture that upset me the most:
End of January 2012 - 260lbs
Comparing it to my passport photo from 2009:
I was ashamed that I had let myself get so overweight. I think my first reaction when I saw the 2 pictures side by side was something like this: :blushing: to :noway: to :grumble: to
I'm 200.6lbs now. I still have a long way to go but I'm getting there.

not sure if i should take that as a compliment or an insult.0 -
My wake up call, two Easters ago. Took me a while to do anything. I was afraid of scales, but probably 320, 330.
And this is me in the same skirt, at 298.

Unfortunately I have no clue how to put pictures in here. I have some pictures in my profile pics that you can all look at though.0
