Very low sugar allowance....

Really struggling with the RDA given on here of 24g for sugar - standard RDA is 90g. I had an Oykos yoghurt (yum) for breakfast and that was 8g gone already. God knows how bad it would be with a low fat food as they're mainly all sugar! Anyone else struggling? It seems ridiculously low.... and I am a bit of a sugar junkie. I was about 50g over yesterday!

I try not to eat processed or cane sugar
I don't worry about the intake coz the sugar I eat is natural.

Excellent - thank you! Even my apple was a shocker and I rate that very differently from Haribo......0

I always go over my sugar allowance even though I'm almost always within my calorie allowance. I haven't alterered it but it has made me more aware of the sugars I'm eating. whenever I see the sugar allowance is way over I'll look through and see if it's just fruit or if all my snacking and yoghurts etc have put me over. I've found over time my sugar has reduced which is a big deal for me because I have a sweet tooth. hence my membership here. Love to eat sweet things not so keen on the exercising.... Small changes :-)0
