How many calories do you think you need?

Just wondered. Not talking about Basic Metabolic Rate, but how many you generally need to eat in a day to feel healthy and productive. Whenever I see people eating very little I just wonder how their bodies function!

My BMR is around 1460 but I find that I can't function in a day with fewer than about 1,700/1,800 whether I'm doing lots of exercise or very little (sometimes I eat more if I've done loads of exercise but not that much). Also, I eat as much as I can with those calories. Would rather have lots of little meals and snacks rather that one or two big meals any day!!

    honestly a net of 1200 on most days and i am full, usually a total of 1,500 without the exercise calories deducted.
