Hey all,

Having one of those stupid moments where I can't think of the name for something so I now present you with a pretty vague question...

In strength training, what's the name used to describe the "routine" (or whatever you want to call it) where you work one set of muscles one day and then another the next (and you alternate).. I read about this recently (and I think it's what Jillian Michaels is preaching in Body Revolution) but I can't find the name. I think you like work biceps, quads, X, one day then the next day you do triceps, hams, etc..??

Sorry if this is stupid but I'm confident someone will know what I'm blabbing about :) Thank you!

    "Split" or "Split Schedule?"

^^Yup. It's a training split. There are 3,4,5 and even 6 day splits where you work a different muscle group each day.

Thanks! The one I had specifically heard of is "Push/Pull" which is a split. Glad to finally figure it out haha.
