    I do 5/3/1 at home. (http://www.strstd.com/)

I started with a walmart beater bar and just bought weights as I had to up them. I found a bench, more weights, and a better beater bar on craigslist for a whole $25. And I made myself a squat rack (in the profile pic) from these instructions here: http://freckledlifter.wordpress.com/2012/09/11/diy-squat-rack/

I have a "starter" 3 piece, 3 pound bar and plates that go to 115. I have asked my husband to buy me an Oly (45 pound) bar and some more 2.5 and 5 pound plates for Mother's Day or my upcoming birthday. I also have plate loadable dumbbells, but, honestly, I rarely use them. I have a bench and an adjustable rack, although not a safety rack. I started by trying to create my own program using my husband's Arnold Bible, but ended up switching to the All Pro beginner Routine found in the forum at bodybuilding.com. I have bounced around, here and there, doing my own, creating hybrids off of plans on bb.com and muscleandstrength.com. Then I was doing Madcow 5x5. I really like that, but squatting three times a week was killing my legs since I'm also running 3 times a week. So, right now, my running is coming first, and I switched, this week, to 5/3/1. New Rules of Lifting is a great place to start, and Starting Strength is suggested here a lot as really great, although I've never looked into that one myself.

I'm all about minimal equipment. If you know what you are doing, you don't need a lot of weight.

My equipment set consists of a pullup bar, some rings, homemade parallettes, some 15, 25, and 35 lb DB's, a pair of 10 lb ankle weights, and an adjustable 60 lb weight vest.

I really don't use the weights all that much though. I'm currently using weight to add height to my chest to bar pullups, but that's about it. I usually do weighted pistol squats, but I'm experimenting with full ROM skater/shrimp squats at the moment and am not yet strong enough to add weight with good form.

I do a goal based routine, working toward the ability to do specific exercises and milestones. Upper/lower split.

    Exercises I do include:

    Push:
    Handstand Pushups
    One Arm Wall Handstand
    Ring/bar Dips
    Plyo One Arm Pushups
    Tuck Planche
    Back Lever

    Pull:
Weighted Chest to Bar Pullups for height
    Weighted Chins
    Lever Rows
    Front Lever
    Middle Split Hold/V-Sit

    Legs:
    Natural Hamstring Curl/Ghetto GHR
    Pistol Squats/Weighted Pistol Squats
    Skater/Shrimp Squats
    Hill Sprints
    Static Lunges (Yoga)

    Core:
    Dragon Flags/Body Lever
    L-Sit
    Bridges
    Superman Hold
    Elbow Lever
