I have used this website before and not had too much luck...I took a break from using it and am going to try again and see what happens.....hope to see some results this time around. I am in desparate need of losing the weight and sometimes dont feel like i have the 'emotional' support that I despirately need!! I also dont have the money to join a gym like i want and even if i could join a gym...i live like 15+ miles away from one and have very few workout buddies that might have the time to help!!

Working out from your house is just as good as going to the gym. I will add you as a friend and help out as much as I can0

I've noticed the same thing with the site, I've been trying to stay on track since the beginning of the year and one thing or another would deter my focus. I was getting back on the getting healthy/losing weight wagon and saw this quote "Convince yourself that you are worth the time to make the changes you need to be healthy" and i realized.. THAT's it.. that's my problem, I don't make the time I should, for ME, it's so much easier to blame this body/this weight on other "more important" commitments. SO, last night I committed to starting back on my work out, i started slow, just 20 min of cardio and added in my legs and crunches. Today I'll workout at lunch (walking or whatever) and then will do some sort of strength (usually a Jillian 20 min DVD). But if I can offer any advice it's this.. We don't need a gyn to workout, use your neighborhood - get out and walk/jog. The Coach Potato to 5k is a GREAT progam and so easy to follow. Also, use your public library Rend their exercise DVD's if you don't have money to buy them, they can certainly be costly and sometimes we don't know what we are getting into when we purchase. Jillian Michael's DVD's are normally pretty inexpensive and that girl gives you a GREAT work out in 30 minutes!!
Make the promise to yourself, just like anything you would promise a loved one and don't break it. When you feel like you are slacking, remember how you WANT to feel and look, find that one thing about your body you don't like and know that you can change it and when you do, nothing will feel better
You can do this!!! Only we can make the changes we want to see, no one else. Just find that motivation
Have a great day0 -

It's tough.... it is... ccshopsalot is right tho.... you need to convince yourself that dieting and exercising are as important as IDK brushing your teeth in the morning or keeping your job.
Getting is shape looks physical, but it's ALL psychological:
*How long will it take you to get off your butt?
*How far will you push yourself through that exercise that makes you feel like you're dying?
*Can you give 100%? Can you give 101?
*Are you strong enough to not get discouraged if your results aren't as fast as you expected?
*Are you motivated enough to keep up the hard work even though you have already lost tons of weight (but have not reached your goal)?
These are all phychological factors and questions... and this is the only thing that matters... trust me I'm not there yet, but I KNOW that before I even come close to having a fit body, I have to work on having a fit mind... and unfortunately there are no workout budies for getting a fit mind.0
