Unwanted weight loss advice stories,let's hear them!

Even when I'm not trying to lose weight, I've been given weight loss advice. I'm not saying it's all bad advice. I'm just saying that it was given to me without me asking. Sometimes, my family are the ones concerned. More than occasionally, total strangers try to be "helpful" by offering me advice. I've got more than enough to ramble on about. I've hear everything from "Your thighs aren't as big as you think they are, they just have a lot of fat on them. Try dragging around a tire in your yard and run with a weight vest. That will help work off your waist too." down to "Well, if you didn't eat out all of the time then you wouldn't be so big. Try cooking at home and making some healthy meals." These tips come from strangers that I wasn't even speaking to! I cook dinner every single day, eating out is actually a relatively rare occasion! It's funny what people assume,and how often they throw in their opinions and ideas! I have worse stories,and not so bad ones,but I want to share what other people have been told!

You can never, ever ever eat anything bad for you again. You will fall off the wagon and never be able to get back on.
Screw you its my birthday if I want some cake I will eat some cake. That doesn't mean I will undo the 41 pounds I have lost.

I was told not too long ago: What is taking so long losing your weight? I lost 46 pounds in 3 months! When I responded that I am slowly doing this reducing so it will last-- I was told-- well, it was so easy for me!0

"I sell Herballife".......... My friend sells heballife and does crossfit ( I have no complaints about the crossfit) She has managed to get 8 of our friends to start drinking herbal life and now its like the herballife bandwagon that they want me on ugh0

I want to hear stories of weight loss advice that people have taken upon themselves to offer. Maybe that hasn't happened to you. People say some pretty insulting and/or off the wall stuff. I just think it's fun to chat with others about their experiences. However, you're welcome to nit-pick my title if you have nothing better to do. Apparently it's a big deal.0 -

Yikes...that sounds kind of gross. My grandmother is great for dishing out advice like that. Recently, she told me just to drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit instead of meals. Then,she started to try to show me how to do leg lifts. She's 70! haha0 -
