Well I got my blood work back today.

I will post the numbers sometime tomorrow.

The good news is with eating very low carb for the past 2 months I haven't lost very much weight, BUT I have some GREAT news to share.

My cholesterol is normal, which it usually is.

My triglycerides need to come down just a hair, like about 3 or 4 points and they will be in the normal range.

The best news is my A1C is down to 5.6%. I am now classified as having insulin resistance again, no longer full blown diabetic as of today!!!!! If I can get my A1C down to 5.2% or less, I will no longer be insulin resistant either.

The bad news is, my TSH is way high and so is my testosterone. So I have to go see a specialist for that. They are going to test me for Hashimotos and Addison's disease.

Congrats on your good numbers! So sorry to hear about your TSH... I really hope you don't have Hashimoto's or Addison's. Those aren't pleasant diseases. Hopefully it's just plain hypothyroidism and they can medicate you and you'll be good as new. (BTW, I highly recommend dessicated thyroid. It's been a lifesaver for me. I can't take Synthroid. If you do decide to go the natural route and have trouble getting your hands on the stuff in the US, you can order it from Canada.) I wish you the absolute best of luck!

Bumping up ..........may come as inspiration for others that are diabetic (Type 2) or insulin resistant.

    It is reversible!!!!
