Green juice

I have tried in the past to drink green juice 1-2x/day because of its immense health benefits, but I cannot find/make any green juice/smoothie recipe that doesn't make me want to be sick on the spot. Anyone have any suggestions or recipes that have worked for you in the past?

    I used to use the mean green juice from Fat, SIck and Nearly Dead.

    6 Kale Leaves or Spinach
    Apple
    Cucumber
    Celery
    Lemon
    Ginger

    What about it makes you "sick on the spot"?

    Celery and kale tend to have really pungent tastes... perhaps omitting them would help.

    Carrots & 1/2 green bell pepper is a nice place to start. Good for your skin.

    1/2 beet & 2 apples.

    If you are going back in unsure, the above 2 don't taste bad at all.

    If you want kale/spinach etc, try adding beets, they go a good way to turning the taste around. Lemon too, but it can be quite an overpowering taste. I add lemon to a lot of mine if I have them in the kitchen.

    The taste. Once it hits the back of my throat, my gag reflex goes into hyperdrive. It's pretty unimpressive..

    So it's just green veggies that does that? Also, someone recommended beets, but just use one until you are used to them. They can cause severe nausea if you use too many too fast.

    I do a handful of frozen berry's, 2 cups of spinach and a little apple, OJ or Cranberry juice im not sure if it counts as a "green smoothie" but its the best I can do so I can still enjoy it.
