Home or Gym?

Done both for years...
When I was younger it was all GYM. Loved it, loved the idea of pushing up heavy weights in front other people. Loved seeing people and hearing the gym sounds. But I didn't like to wait for machines and benches, and the car ride there and back ate up a lot of time.
For the past 2 - 3 years, I have been working out in my own gym a lot. I love the time savings. At times it gets a little boring with no one else around. But I can also watch movies while I row, not be bothered by others and people can't see how little I can lift right now ;-)0 -
Home. More convenient.0

Currently home, but I've been thinking about the gym lately.0

I really wish I didn't have to say this, but home.
I have a set routine that I do from my home setup. If I get to go to the gym, I tend to get overwhelmed with the choices of machinery and develop worklout ADD. My sets and reps become an uncoordinated mess and results are pitiful. With that being said, I do maintain the membership because the pool is great for cardio.0 -
I like both.
The gym has the equipment I need and cannot afford at the moment, also allows me to workout in peace without kids jumping on me
At the same time, I love working out at home when I really can't fit a gym day into my day0 -
Mostly gym, for the access to more weights and equipment. Plus, I drive by it on my way home from work so no excuses.
Sometimes on the weekend I do cardio at home.0 -
Mix but exclusively home at the moment. Last year it was half-n-half (free gym at work) but I bought a new treadmill so I start using that exclusively. Plus I built a treadmill desk so even less of an excuse to get in some cardio (typing this right now from the 'desk-mill). Now the work gym has been renovated and will re-open tomorrow. Eager to see whether the additional equipment will be there yet or it will come later and they're just transplanting old stuff for now. If they add more free weights options besides dumbbells, I'll be ALL OVER THAT!0
