Very possible but it depends on your starting weight. If you are 200 pounds, you can definitely lose 2 pounds a week. If you are around 140, it might not go as fast.0

it can be done especially in the first month or two, but it would be better if it was achieved through exercise rather than just low calories.
excercise, eat more and still loose weight = winning.0 -
I have done it up until about 3 weeks ago. That would be about 4 months of 2lbs/week. I was obese though so depending on you BF% you can do it for a while0

I hope to do this. I know it's possible, I've done it in the past. I also used to only have jobs that had me moving all day. I recently landed a desk job so hopefully I will be able to motivate myself to get out and move before or after work.0

I have been able to do this for about 7 weeks! I am considered obese as I started at 183 lbs. and am only 5'1". I set my calories to 1200 and eat back my exercise calories (which means I eat anywhere from 1300-1500 cals most days). I exercise 5 times a week and am learning to eat much healthier and have cut out diet Pepsi and most artificial sweeteners and processed foods. I'm also serious about portion control and measure just about anything! If you are serious about it and have quite a bit of weight to lose, I'm sure you can do it. Best of luck to you!

It is possible if you have a lot to lose. Losing 2lbs per week is generally not recommended unless you have at least 75 lbs to lose.
When you have less to lose trying to lose 2lbs a week can do more harm than good. Too high of a deficit will increase muscle loss along the way.0 -
It is possible at first. I lost an average of 2-3 pounds a week all the way to 19 pounds. (I am 5'8 and started at 185...166 now) This week looks to only be a pound loss..I will see officially Sunday.
Once you get closer to an average weight for your height..it slows down..well at least for me.0 -
When I first started at the end of February/beginning of March, no way, hahaha. However, April, I was averaging 2 pounds a week. However, I raised my calories and I was working out probably 4 days a week for between an hour to an hour and a half.
Normally I'd say it's impossible. I wanna have awesome results in May like I did in April, but I've been naughty with food!!! So fingers crossed! Lol0 -
