Calories burned + caloric intake? ADVICE PLEASE

I find this confusing. I know that because you have burned calories working out those calories burned go back into the "Calories remaining."
Whenever I work out, I find my calories remaining to go nearly back to its original starting number.
Should my caloric intake be higher?
But even in the past with that same caloric intake, and similar exercise my weight wasn't dropping.
Guess what im trying to ask is what is the caloric intake I should be at working out 5 days a week, about 400-500 calories a workout?
I want to do this the healthy way.

If you're following the MFP method..the program.has already set a deficit for you. Therefore you are supposed to eat back your burned calories, so you're not creating too great a deficit....which can slow or stop your loss and is hard to get adequate nutrition. So eat those calories...or a good percentage of them. There are many threads that explain how this works...read the FAQs.
