They're processed junk food that's overpriced.
But they work GREAT in a pinch.0 -
In moderation, they're fine. They are generally high in sodium, and I find I have to add more salt to make them taste halfway decent. I keep a couple in the freezer at work in case I need something quick and easy. I wouldn't make a habit out of eating them, though. Plus they usually taste like ****.0

Processed junk loaded with sodium. I never buy them.0

I'm probably going to get hated on for this, but, meh, what else is new, hate on opinions, lol. I used to eat them all the time and I lost a good amount of weight doing it. They aren't the healthiest thing, obviously, but a lot of them are pretty cheap (I am kinda poor lol) and well.. not everyone can afford fresh produce all the time. So, my suggestion would be, if you have the money, skip out on buying them and go for the fresh stuff. If you're on a budget, then packaged meals aren't going to kill you. Up to you in the end.0

You could eat so much more real food with substance..0

Most things are processed.. so I don't really give a hoot or I'd probably starve. I only ever buy frozen meals like Lean Cuisine when they're on sale ( half off or they can choke on em! ) and use them when I literally only have minutes to prepare, eat and clean up. Just the same, two apples will satisfy me for longer.
I remember when I was 10, that's all my mother ever bought me and my sisters hah..0 -
I usually keep a couple in the freezer for super lazy days when I need something low cal and easy. I don't eat them on a regular basis whatsoever. I can cook something for the same calories that is more filling and tastier.0

Eat REAL food... there are a lot of fillers/chemicals/etc in package and high volume factory processed foods0

I used to eat frozen meals. Then after i started making my own food, I realized how tasteless those frozen things are and how little food you actually get. I am also generally lazy and do not like to cook during the work week. So I do all my cooking on Sunday afternoons and prepackage everything in individual Ziplock containers with the screw on lids. Those things are cheap, very sturdy and leak-proof. I freeze some portions and put what I will need for the next couple of day in the refrigerator. I have developed a system whereby I can eat several things during the week but only make a couple of new things.
My food tastes great and isn't really that much more trouble than processed crap.0 -
While they won't kill ya or anything, but you could make freezer meals for yourself on a day off and get more food for the calories. Just my 2¢0

I find they taste so bland0

There are some that I like and some that are gross. They do tend to have high sodium though.0

I only eat frozen meals I've made myself that way i know exactly what is going into my body. I do this regularly because i love yo cook, but its easier to make large portions that are weighed and frozen for the days i don't feel like cooking for 2.0

I'd probably end up eating two. :shifty:0

I use them. Sometimes they are all I have time for. Now that I have been doing this for more than 30 days. I am going to branching out an cooking more. Weather is nice... bbq time.0

everyone is going to tell you they are bad because they are high in sodium and blah blah blah... unless you have a medical condition where sodium is an issue, then i dont see a problem with them. i eat them daily. they are well priced, quick, pre-made, pre-portioned, and can be made to taste very good. i like to add in fresh spinach, tomatoes, etc to different meals and make them more filling. for example, lean cuisine has a chicken ranch flat bread melt. i add a crap load of fresh jalepeno, tomatoe and fresh spinach, then cook. its so freekin good, and filling! ive lost 70 pounds since september eating these meals (along with meals i cook) and im in great health! to each their own. some will tell you this, some will tell you that, find what works for you, and run with it!0

Being a mommy of a precious 11 week old they are a lifesaver! While hubby is at work I eat quick stuff like that, cereal or plain fruit because I simply haven't got the time for anything else. I really like most of the smart ones.0

I'm a big fan of TV dinners. Esp when I don't feel like cooking or my kitchen is a nightmare and the stove is dirty. Not to mention when the dishes are in the sink and uncleaned...U know...But then again I suffer mental health problems too, so it might be just me but I try to squeeze in one to three homemade meals a week, and abiding by serving size once a week. But still I eat TV dinners too. Just trying not to eat too much of them.0
