so i was thinking today after reading some of these im "this height" and this is my "goal weight". how is it that we let ourselves be consumed by some number, that we think will make us feel good about ourselves? for instance me as an example, i need to gain weight and would like to be 110. why 110. why not 115. why not 120. what is so great about this number ? i have no idea. we pick this number, 123. 152. && feel disappointed if we dont hit it, or slightly go over it. && then it becomes a calorie number 1700 this 1850 that. i never noticed how victim one can be to numbers. && honestly that can ruin someones success in weight loss. weight gain. or toning.
let me just say ladies, that a scale number is just a number. doesnt define you. make you. break you.
your "goal" should be healthy happy confident.
so my GOAL. more muscle definition. upping my lifting. regaining that confidence i lost.
whats your goal.
thought process.
feel free to add if you'd like.
like i said i need to gain weight.
im 100 pounds && 5'5 (not intentional).

I think a lot of us are remembering how we felt/looked at a certain number. That doesn't mean that a person can't build more muscle and look fantastic at another number... But I think that's where a lot of hang-ups lie.0

This is todays goal ending number
1666 Plain Evilness.
Even thou I'm not the exact number today than I'd like to be, so what. Because I know I have improved with my eating habits, and for me, its not entirely about just being a certain #. But I'll let you know if I doooo see the #. :laugh:0 -
This was my train of thought when I was overcoming my eating disorder... at 5'5" 100 pounds...
My advice... ditch the scale, lift heavy, and eat normal meals0
