eat back the calories burned? confused!

I see a lot of people saying they eat back the calories they burned...so if my daily calorie intake is 1600 and I burn 600 in a work out would that mean I eat the 1600 and then another 600 for the ones I burned? im confused

Yes. That is exactly what you're supposed to do.
MFP is designed for you to eat back your exercise calores.
When it gives you your daily goal, it's already got a deficit built in. This means you'll lose weight, regardless if you exercise. When you exercise, you further increase that deficit. You want to maintain a healthy deficit and make sure to fuel your body with food.0
