trying again

Hi! I've started trying to lose weight many times, I know how to lose weight in a healthy way, I know what works for my body, how to exercise, and how to lose my cravings. The hard part for me is doing it. I'm an emotional eater, insulin resistant, and I eat too many carbs. I've bounced around depending on my motivation for the past 15 years, and right now I'm heavier than I've ever been. I have several health problems to work around but can't let that stop me from trying. SO. . . my goal is to change my lifestyle, eat a low GI diet, get healthy, and lose weight. I do so much better when I'm part of a group of people with the same goals, and when I hold myself accountable. That's why I'm here. I'd love to give support to others. I also need to make friends who can help support me.
