MFP Macros - Help with the Math

Math has never been my strong suit, so I'm looking for some input as to what I'm missing here. My MFP macros are set to 55% carbs, 25% protein, and 20% fat. MFP is calculating that to be 269g carbs, 122g protein, and 44g fat. The problem is that when I manually calculate the percentages based on those numbers, I'm getting 55%, 25% and 9%. The fat seems way off, but how can that be? Can anyone enlighten me?

It's because fat has 9 calories per gram, but protein and carbs have 4 calories per gram.0

Do you get 1960 calories a day?0

carbs and protein are ~4 cals per gram, while fat is ~9 cals per gram
therefore 44x~9=~396 or approximately 20% of your total calories
Hope this helps you!0 -
Ah, there we go! I knew it had to be something simple like that. Thanks, all! And yes, 1960.0
