It's hard, but I've found the only time that works for me is in the morning before getting ready. It takes less time because it doesn't require an extra shower (I've already got to shower in the morning to get ready); I can workout in my pjs, so no getting dressed in exercise gear. So it literally adds 20-25 minutes to my day (I'm doing the 30 DS right now). I could never get the motivation up to get up an hour earlier than usual, but I can usually muster getting up half an hour earlier. If my daughter's up, she crawls around at my feet (occasionally I'm doing crunches with an extra 15 lbs. on me!)0

You could also do quick reps duing the day. Say set a goal of 100 push ups and do 20 at a time during the day.
There is also exercise and yoga videos out there to do w/ kids, so you could incorporate that into your quality time with your daughter.0 -
Be warned, I am more of a tough love kind of person.
I am a single dad raising two kids. I have a full time job, for which I have to commute over an hour each way every day. I am in the gym 5x per week. I don't HAVE time to exercise, I MAKE time to exercise. If something is important enough to you, you will find a way to make it happen. Only you can decide how important it is to you.
Also, there were many times I was going to get in shape before, and never did. The difference? Those times, I was thinking how nice it would be IF I got in shape. This time, I simply decided that I was going to get in shape. Period.0 -
I work full time and have an 8 and 5 year old and my husband swing shifts every two weeks from days to seconds. I do most of the parenting because he works long and hard. I am not a morning person and I have tried and tried but its just not for me. I do my workouts after the kids go to bed and my chores are done. Sometimes its 9-930 when I am starting my workout. I do videos (Jillian Michaels) and run/walk on the treadmill. Its tough and most of the time its forcing myself to work out half asleep but I always feel better and glad I did! Hang in there and push yourself. Feel free to add me if you like for support and motivations!0
