Dear Scale: I Think We Should See LESS of Each Other :)

Wondering if I should start weighing myself once a month rather than once a week?

Any success stories from those who made the switch from weekly to monthly weighs? Particularly from those who were terrified to make that switch, and/or those who struggled with a long plateau?

I feel that not only is the frequent weighing bumming me out about my slow loss, also, weighing in Saturday morning makes Sat nite and Sunday into sort of loose "cheat" days (though I hate that term)...and weekends are my hardest time anyway....

Already tracking body measurements and body fat. Half way to my goal, strength training 3x week with body weight exercises ("Body By You" Mark Lauren). Hoping to add some cardio couple times week to blast through plateau...

If I weighed less often, would it help me to see losses? Or would it worsen my plateau (kind of paranoid that I would "lose control" if I am not constantly monitoring my weight, though I know this is an irrational fear.)
