Airplane Food - No Thanks!!

The food offered on planes is basically all high caloric, so I was planning on bringing my own munchies. One thing I would love to bring with me is a couple of sample size packages of PB2. With all of the security issues these days, I was wondering if anyone has any idea if I am allowed to bring this onto the plane?

You're not allowed to bring more then 6oz of any kind of fluid on the plane with you, I believe. Other then that you should be ok. How long is your flight? When I flew to the Philippines from Texas I was in the air for 22ish hours. I ordered the vegan airline meal and only ate about half of it and I was fine.

It's neither a liquid nor a gel, so you shouldn't have an issue. But you can't bring a knife, unless it's plastic.

well, don't flaunt it! powders make them nervous. maybe stick it in with your clothes? and make sure they're clearly labeled in case they find it.

Nope, you can bring as much on the plane as you want (within reason of course) as long as you got it from the terminal, ie, purchased a soda or filled up your previously empty water bottle with water. The 6oz rule applies to getting past security, pre terminal.

So true. I was planning on bringing 2 unopened sample packages. Each one is 2 servings. Gotta bring an extra in case I'm asked to share.

My flight is only about 4 hours long so I will just need a snack cuz it's in the morning and I will need some kind of breakfast. I figured PB2 on crackers would suffice.

Oh if it's only 4 hours why not just bring an apple or something with you? Making PB2 can be kind of messy, at least in my experience :P

I find apples are not filling at all...unless I put some peanut butter on them.
