psyllium husk powder

I started incorporating about a tsp of psyllium husk powder in my protein drink breakfast and at the beginning, it really helps with my digestive track (basically having regular no. 2) but after about a week, even if I have it every day, it doesn't seem to work anymore, i.e. no longer regular.

Anyone else has the same experience or any advice? Thanks.
