Polar F4 Stuck on "Paused"

So my HRM is stuck on the 'paused" screen. I tried holding down up, back, down, and light for 4 seconds like the manual suggests, but to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

    Take the battery out for a minute and put it back in.

    Thanks for replying, I tried that. Now the screen is totally blank, though. I'm on chat with polar support. I'll update what happens in case anyone else has this problem!
