The way my mom always overcooked bacon made me dislike it (#shock#awe). Perhaps if I tried it again in a less burnt setting, I would like it more.

One day I said, in the hearing of some children, "Mmm... Bacon goes with everything!" and one of the children said, thinking they were being smart, "even dessert?!" and I said "Sure!" Then I went home and googled it - sure 'nuff... there ARE desserts with bacon in them! I didn't try any of the recipes though.
