Hi all!

I'm Olivia, I'm 20 years old and I need to find some motivation!

I'm not massive, 5 foot 3 and 9 stone 13, which for me is pretty scary, it's the biggest I've ever been, and whilst I know its not huge, it doesn't sit well on my little frame.

I do dance twice a week, but I think I have a really slow metabolism, as nothing seems to be working for me!

I have a bad habit of snacking and going too far on a fat Friday, as well as a very Northern mum who likes BIG portions.

I have a cross trainer, but don't really know how to use it for optimal weight loss, or if theres any supplements I can take to help.

Can anyone advise anything? I'm meant to be going on holiday at the end of June and would like to be back feeling comfortable about myself again!

Thanks guys, I'm ready to get healthy and happy!!

    Hi Olivia

what is your diet like on a day to day basis....do you miss meals and then snack instead?

BIG portions...how about a slightly smaller plate? i know it sounds daft but you can still enjoy a plateful....just on a smaller plate :)

be really honest when filling in your food diary. i have been on here for a week now and have gone over my calorie allowance 5 days out of the 7! but its made me aware of the volume of food i eat and the calorie content in each item.

    good luck

    Hey Natalie,

I tend to skip breakfast, have a salad for lunch then binge when I get home from work. Then on Friday I eat everything in sight!

I think I'm gunna have to suggest that, my mum might start crying but I think it needs to be done haha!

Say if I put in "chicken salad", how do I pick which option when they're all the same with different calorie allowances? If that makes sense at all!

    Thanks for your help!

if i have time i always manually add each item to 'make' my chicken salad but if not i tend to pick the chicken salad options showing the most calories even though i know my salad is slightly under that calorie amount.....i always over estimate the calories in food and drink.

    :)
