Hey guys, I could use some serious help.
I am 21 years old 6'2" and 201lbs. I recently lost about 30 lbs and have been lifting a lot recently. For over a month now I have been having about 1800-2100 calories a day with around 165g of protein per day. I go to the gym 4 days a week and lift pretty intensely and sweat a ton. I am using creatine, protein powder, fish oil pills, and pre workouts. The problem is, my weight loss all of a sudden has kind of stopped the past two weeks or so and I'm stuck around 200 lbs give or take. I also have been getting sick almost every week for a month, flu like symptons 4 times in 4 weeks. Is all this happening because my calories are too low so I'm immune system is failing and my metabolism might be damaged? Keep in mind I also work construction and do light labor over 40 hours a week. Any help I will GREATLY appreciate, thank you in advance!!!
EDIT: I should probably also add that I only get about 6 hours of sleep a night

I can't see what you're eating, but my first instinct would be that you're eating something that either your body doesn't like, or you aren't eating the right things to fuel it for all of your activity. There are a lot of foods you can eat every day that help boost your immune system.
Also I don't want to harp on the food allergy thing, but I used to get flu like symptoms constantly when I became intolerant to gluten, and it stopped immediately when I went GF.0 -
Really hope I can get some answers I'm totally lost0

Oh dang, I haven't experienced anything like this before and I can't think of anything that's making me sick, my eating habits have improved drastically from fast foods everyday all day to all packed lunches and healthy dinners at home or flame broiler etc.0

It definitely sounds like you may not be eating enough if you're so active. Check out a site like http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ to see if you should be eating more.0

Your calories do not seem enough for your size and for your level of activity.0

When did your eating habits improve? Sometime when people make a sudden change from processed foods to healthy ones, their body kind of goes through a withdrawal.
I'd suggest drinking kombucha, or another drink loaded with probiotics, whenever I feel a bug coming on I drink some of it and I feel great the next day. There are definitely some kombucha naysayers, but I've fought off many a sickness, stomach aches, and digestion problems with it.0 -
That's kind of what I am leaning towards might be the cause, thank you! Maybe ill up my daily calories for non workout days to 2,300 and 2,650 or so on workout days.0

You may not be eating enough. I'm eating 1850/day and am female, older and shorter and am not nearly as active as you. This has helped me quite a bit: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/975025-in-place-of-a-road-map-short-n-sweet
If eating more doesn't make you feel better, please go to the doctor. Something like Mono/Epstein Barr can have flu-like symptoms (not stomach flu) and can go on for months. Better to check and have it be nothing, right?0
