Weight Loss

Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback.
I really want to lose weight pretty quickly, but keep it off.
I eat around 1200 calories a day and try to exercise most days. I also walk about 30 min per day. Is this a good plan?

My best advice is to not worry about the speed at which you lose weight. You want to make changes that will make your weight loss sustainable instead of just having a quick fix.

I also suggest that you calculate your TDEE and eat that -20%. In case you haven't found any information on this, your TDEE is the total number of calories you burn in a day, including the calories your body burns by just functioning and the calories you burn through your exercise. 1200 calories probably won't be enough for your activity level, so eating at a higher level might help keep you full and help you keep the weight off once you reach your goal.

    Best of luck.

Its a great start, but if you're expecting quick results you're going to need to hit work outs HARD. I spend 10 or more hours in the gym a week and work out moderately so I don't get hurt and have seen the inches come off in 6 weeks. Nothing that will last happens quickly except lipo.

1200 is pretty low and I would worry that even if you did lose the weight idk that it would be something that would be permanent. I wish you all the luck though, I'm also trying to lose.
