Canned peaches

I need help, I think. How do you measure correctly canned peaches in lite syrup.
It gives me by cup in the diary search, but doesn't that include the syrup. I drain the peaches, so don't eat the syrup.
I can't seem to figure this out,

    weigh and record them in grams - it is the most accurate way

    So am I going to have to convert the measurement because the database doesn't give me grams?
