When did you SEE results from heavy lifting?

I'm only in week two, but I absolutely notice a difference in my thighs and butt. My stomach and upper body, nada, but I have really never had definition in my arms. My stomach has always been flat and tight, but baby #2 is making that harder to obtain this go around.
So when did you see visible progress? I haven't even stepped on a scale yet, I just want to notice a difference in my appearance. Bonus for progress pics!

I saw progress within two weeks.. the difference is more obvious now five months later though. I also have two children (second became a toddler a few months ago) and I feel like I have lost half of myself  Just persevere.. take photos, that helped me notice the difference. Because of the sagging skin of childbirth, I still think I'm fat but I know in a sense that I'm more fit now than I ever was before having kids.
Oh and here's a pic (you were asking for one right? haha).. only 15 lb difference. I haven't lost "weight" in nearly two months but my body fat percentage is going down. I wish I had taken photos of my arms back in January cause I've lost a lot in my arms too.
Day 1 (Jan 1) 181.5lbs, 32%BF
Day 128 (May 7) 166.5lbs 22%BF
P.S. Ditch the scale or weigh once a month (weigh more often if you can handle it) and take measurements0 -
you look amazing dixie!! thanks for the advice... I haven't even stepped on the scale since I started working out again, 6 weeks ago, because I just don't want to do that mental game. I know what I'm trying to achieve.0
