Today I felt like getting my self an ice treat so I was looking at these new frozen Greek yogurts, I always read the labels and compare them to others. But today there was only yoplait yogurt at the store I was at so I compared the strawberry original frozen greeek yogurt to the low fat one.
The low fat yolplait frozen greek yogurt strawberry flavor was
130 calories
18g sugar
0 dietary fiber
where the original strawberry greek frozen yogurt of the same brand was
110 calories
17g sugar
2g dietary fiber
3g protien
both where a serving size of 1/2 cup
So remember always read the labels, often times things that say low fat or non fat are chocked full of sugar.
I know a lot of you already know this, so this is more a warning for the new people.
If you have noticed this with in brands share your story lets help educate each other.
