I am stuck

I have been stuck at the same weight, forever. I've tried increasing and decreasing my calorie in take. Switching work outs, from high intensity cardio, to pilates, running, weights, walking...
I try to aim for about 45 mins per day, should I try for a longer duration?
My eating has stayed same as ever, I've now hit 3 months with the scale needle dancing around the same 2lbs, the only difference being I've lost an inch in my hips...

If you have hit a plateau then you need to do something different to get yourself out of it. This could mean you may need to increase calories or decrease, maybe even take a break from exercise for a week or two. You may need to adjust your macros (i.e. lower carbs etc), look at other diets such as calorie cycling etc. The key thing is when you hit a plateau is to do something different and change what you normally do because your body has adapted and hence you no longer see the same results.0

True, but don't get too discouraged because the scale isn't moving. You said you've lost an inch in the waist right? That's awesome! The old adage of muscle weighs more than fat....there is a little truth to that.0

I cant see your diary so its hard to really say what is happening
if you lost around your hips that us a good thing, do you think you have more muscle now, coz muscles weighs heavier that body fat.
I do at least an hour a day and I do eat back most of the cals earnt
We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them.

I took a week off from dieting and exercising mostly because I believed I was overtraining and wanted to rest my muscles, but also I hadn't lost any weight in a long time. I allowed myself a few treats but didn't binge, my meals were reasonably healthy and undoubtedly my carb intake went up. Been back to my old routine for 2 weeks now and everything seems to have kicked back into gear, scales are going down more than I imagined.
Mix it up a bit and just see what happens, and make sure you're drinking lots of water as I noticed for me that the scale stalls if I don't drink enough water.0
