Seasonal foods

Hello everyone.
As usual, I am trying to better my eating habits. Since I am currently unemployed and on my way to becoming healthier, I started to notice how much fruits and vegetable prices change every month. Before, I didn't even check my receipts I guess; so, I never noticed this.
Anyways, so I decided to do the natural (and cheaper) thing and decided to only use those fruits and vegetables that are in season. What are some things to look out for? Now that summer is coming, I know I will be eating a lot of tomato salads, for example. I have no idea about nuts, I never snacked on nuts before(other than the occasional Costco sized tin of peanuts), so price fluctuations are very foreign to me for those.
Maybe you know an actually informative site? I tried googling a bit but all I come up with are a couple of fruits and veggies for some seasons, without a good guide.

basically, cheap and readily available probably = seasonal. If I'm short of cash I buy vegies at an Asian store because theyre idiotically cheap0

Asian grocery stores are the best for produce! I used to live really close to three of them and that's where I always got my produce from. I can walk out of an Asian grocery store with 6 bags FILLED with produce and only having spent $20 at most. I miss living that close to one now.
I always tend to go for seasonal produce. They are so much cheaper than out of season produce and usually taste better. I always shop produce based on the weekly sales at my grocery store. My produce selection at home changes each week or two just based on the sales.
Price changes are hard to comment about as things will be cheaper/more expensive for you than they would for me. Prices change based on area as well.
The good thing about summer for good produce is farmers markets. You can get so much great produce for great prices at farmers markets (and you support local farmers). I always go an hour or two before closing time. Sure the selection may not be as good but they discount their produce and some even give away things for free so they don't have to bring the stuff back with them.0
