What a screw up!

I'm numerically dyslexic and have a sugar and dairy starved brain!
I weighed myself this morning for the first time in a while and realised that since I only work in Stones, not lbs, I'd screwed up my very first weight calculation when I began using MFP!
Consequently, MFP now think's I've lost...wait for it...a MASSIVE 12lbs in three weeks! I wish that were true!
So I've had to update my profile, which I hope doesn't confuse things TOO much and put my CORRECT weight as of today.
In actual fact I've lost 5lbs in three weeks...not as much as I hoped for to be honest. But at the same time, I'm due a monthly visit this week and I always retain a few pounds in water!
I'll give it two weeks and weigh myself again!

Yeh...I know. I'm just being hard on myself. Because I didn't lose the 3lbs per week I'd intended I don't feel I've done as well as I could have!
But you're right! I should give myself a break!0 -

3lb a week is not a realistic target, as it would require a 1500 calorie deficit every single day. This is far too large for many people.
Be realistic and set achieveable goals, and then you won't be dissapointed.0 -

You've done better! 5 lbs in 3 weeks is better than 12 lbs in 3 weeks. The slower it comes off, the more likely it is to stay off.0 -
Maybe take a look at this too:
my home > check in > edit previous entries
You might be able to edit your "starting weight", although I'm not 100% sure.0 -

agreed.
OP, your ticker says you want to lose about 12kg? if you work in pounds and stone, why are you using kg?
anyway with around 2 stone to lose, you should be aiming for about 1lb per week, 3lb is too agressive and cant be done in a healthy way.0
