Worried I am losing too fast

I set my goal at 2 pounds a week based on what I have read to be healthy. I really want to do this right. I have been eating WAY better and have been exercising regularly. I will be the first to admit I do not do good at eating back my exercise calories. My biggest issue is timing. I exercise after work (I am not a morning person and work 12 hr days) but with our crazy schedule I usually do not know if I am going to get a workout in or not so it is hard to plan my eating for the day. My goal is set at 1610 right now and I usually eat 1300-1600 and am eating a pretty healthy and nutritious diet. I just do not feel right trying to cram in another 400-600 calories at the end of the day when I get a good workout in. I do always eat after working out (usually almonds and frozen blueberries)

I have been steadily losing 2-5 pounds a week since I started this. Some people would be thrilled with that (I am a little), but my concern is I do not want to do this in a harmful way to my body as everyone says 2 pounds a week is kind of the max to shoot for. I am eating every 2-3 hours and feel better than I have in 10 years and am really trying to listen to what my body wants. I still drink beer and have bad days when I over eat and I usually see a big weight loss right after those days. My weekly average usually works out close to where it is supposed to be. My ticker is not accurate as I lost 20 pounds before I started logging.

Am I doing this alright or do I need to make changes?

When I first started I was losing about a pound a day... averaging 5-7 pounds a week.... the bigger you are, the faster it falls off AT FIRST.... then things stabilize and you may even see gains...

as long as you are doing what is proper, I wouldnt worry about if more falls off than you planned
