Butt Exercises

I am looking for some exercises that will tone my legs and booty. I always have trouble with squats because I have a bad knee (that cracks in a very scary way every time I squat) so I am looking for potential exercises that may be a slightly easier on my knee. Any suggestions?

POP Pilates on YouTube. Hip thrusts... your booty will burn. I grew my butt an inch over the past month doing this once a week. Maybe the muscle is just swollen, but whatever, I'll take it!0

can you do squats flat on your back with a swiss ball? theyre pretty good. kinda takes weight off your knees but similar motion. I can explain better if you're interested?0

Stiff legged deadlifts.
Also, try varying your squat stance - sumo squats or narrow leg squats, each put pressure on the knees in different ways so you may find one that works for you. Also bare in mind many people find squats resolve their knee issues, not make them worse.0 -
