Sugar intake from snacks

Hi,

I am restricting my calorie intake and eating low fat yoghurts, fruit for snacks, e.t.c but my food diary shows a heck of a lot of sugar and Im usually taking in double what I should be.
Im on herbalife and there is sugar in it too, though I think like fruit its the fructose and not the regular sugar.
I was told my a nutritionist once that sugar intake can be just as bad as fat intake as sugar 'stoes' fat, or something like that.

Does anyone have any ideas for low fat AND low sugar snacks?
