    Would you do it?

    So this kind of jumps off a previous thread, but probably more likely than getting an offer from Playboy.


    So lets say you're at the gym .. and some guy/girl walks up to you (between sets) and asks you if you'd be interested in modeling.
    They give you all the usual info, a business card and seem quite legit.

    Would you take them up on the offer?

    If so .. what type of modeling would you want to do? (RIGHT NOW) - In your current state. If the gig was this weekend.

      I would def do it. I love taking pics of myself now.. I used to hate.. I mean hate the camera.. so now it is def a good thing to like to take pics of myself and look and say.. u look good... :happy:

      Would I be modeling gaming gear, like gaming glasses? Would I be sitting at a desk playing on an awesome rig while they take pictures of me? If so, yes. Otherwise, no.

      No I said it was legit. This person has all of the documentation to prove its legit.

      No way! I would be afraid I would be locked in a cage and never let out (of course, after about 10 minutes of my talking they would either let me go or cut me up). I don't trust anyone.

      Sure, I would do it, but I can't imagine what on earth it would be for. I can't come up with a single scenario in my head of what I would be qualified to model for at present moment.

      This happened to me years ago at work. I was about 21. I did not take the offer because I was concerned that it could be a danger.

      This is a dead giveaway. You know nothing about modeling. Nobody waits for you.

      Happened to me in 2008, for me and my then 2-year-old. A Russian woman approached me on the street. She had a folder with pics of kids and women in print ads, and gave me her card. They wanted my kid for print ads and me I think for some sort of large-size women's shop (language barriers were there). I wasn't plus-sized, but I was hyoooooge in Japan.

      I know that the answer is no. I thought it was a scam. Turned out it wasn't because a friend put his daughters in the same agency for print ads.

      I was a hair model for a while. It's easy work and pays well. If it was a legitimate offer, I'd do it, but no one would ask me to model now, because I'm all old and ****.
