Yesterday I had a bit of a revelation I thought I'd share.

I've been stalled on weight loss for over a month, actually probably closer to two months. I've tried making changes to what I eat, how often I workout, etc, and continue to get frustrated every week when I step on the scale. However, as I was trying to fall asleep last night I realized something: that I haven't given up yet. On the contrary, it's made me work HARDER.

Furthermore... I actually enjoy going to the gym and working out! I couldn't say that five months ago. There was a time when this stall would've made me quit. Just go home, drink a bunch of beer, and eat a bunch of potato chips. But I don't want to go back to that, ever again. Regardless if I'm stalled with weight loss, I'm making emotional progress. I'm making physical endurance progress. I'm making strength progress. There's a lot to say for that. I'm winning!!!
