I am starting to get a little burned out on eating the same types of things everyday. I have a few very yummy healthy recipes but I want to add to those. All types are welcome...brakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I need to spice up this diet of mine

What worked for me was to slim down family favorites. Extra, Extra lean ground beef or extra lean ground turkey for burgers, tacos, meatloaf, sloppy Joes, etc. We switched to turkey for our bratwurst/Italian sausage. When we make pizza, we use Flat Outs and (usually) turkey sausage or turkey pepperoni.
Big salads with chicken are a hit as is breakfast for dinner. I also use turkey meatballs with whole wheat noodles for my kids and Shirataki noodles for my husband and me (if I remember to buy them). I also sometimes do the meatballs as a bake with sauce and cheese, so good. You can use cauliflower in place of rice after grating/chopping it in a food processor, and zucchini makes decent noodles. Lasagna with zucchini as the "noodle" is pretty good.0 -
Whenever I get bored or in a rut, I hit up EatingWell.com. Great, healthy recipes. A couple of our family's favorites are the Beef and Bean Chile Verde and the Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta.0
