how can you tell it is too much?

I am wanting to lose some pounds before I go on vocation and I am going to do 30 day challenge in morning and Jillian Michaels Body Revolution (JMBR) in afternoon. or vis versa =)

WOULD THAT BE TOO MUCH? that be maybe what an hour to an hour and half a day?

    Try it and see how you feel. I do cardio for about 90 minutes a day, and its not bad. The hard part is just finding the time between work and sleep to get it in.

    Rule 1. Listen to your body.

    If you feel fine doing it, go ahead! If you feel totally burnt out and miserable, cut back on the volume load.

    Pick one workout and be prepared to stick with it at a certain time of day.

    So do both. Nothing wrong with trying them. If you find yourself overly fatigued then just cut back to the one. I wouldn't switch off but maybe every month or so just to change things up. As your fitness increases you may be able to do both in a day. Also, make sure you're eating properly to sustain two workout programs a day.
