If you're looking to lose weight "quickly" and have the ability to change your eating habits when finished, I would suggest the Cyclical Ketogenic Diet - IE: Ketosis.
Keep your macros around 15/25/60 - C/F/P - or 5/30/65 and you will see results.
Basic premise around it is a high protein/medium-high fat (healthy fats) and very low carbs during the week/2 week period with a carb load at the end of the week to restore insulin stores.

I recommend developing patience and eating sensibly. Weight taken off that fast is pretty much guaranteed to come right back. And bring friends with it.0

Did you gain it that quickly?0

Why in a month and why did you wait til the last month?0

Thanks0

Really no healthy way to do so. Especially considering that you don't look like you have all that much to lose.
The smaller you are, the more time it takes to come off.
*at least from my experience.
Also it's not always about the number. Move your body, lift, eat well. You'll get where you want.0 -

Depends on your current stats.... the heavier you are the more you burn doing the same as a smaller you
If you have 100 pounds to lose 10 pounds would be 10% if you have ten pounds to loseit would be 100% of your "extra" fat
i would set 8 pounds as a realistic goal (5-8) and really log your food and move your tush!
I lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks that is with 300-500 defecit and 300-500 exercise calories. Do not set yourself up for failure set yourself up for success! A realisitc goal is better I gave myself 3 months for 20 pound loss that is 1+ pounds per week!0 -

This is ok for short term loss with the expectation a regain potential. I have done it both ways and prefer to keep healthy carbs low but not keto low. Besides My workouts were pitiful on keto and intense sessions= smexy changes0 -
If you are looking to loose weight, you need to burn more than a 1800 kcal a day. Lifting weights are good, and will guarantee results. Do some research.0

Only tip I can think of is - DON'T. By your ticker it looks like you're looking at the last 10lbs? I'm sure you've heard it said that the last few pounds are the hardest to lose, and I certainly found that to be true. Well, maybe not hard to lose, but certainly not quick to go and, not without putting your body through some potential "trauma" with low cals and nutrition.
What's happening in a month that makes you want to lose by a certain date? And why not stick with what has gotten you through the first 52lbs?0 -
Calorie deficit! Calorie deficit! Calorie deficit!
In order to lose 10lbs you need to lose about 2.5lbs a week. To do that you need to burn 8750 calories (that is, NET calories!) a week, which is about 1250 a day.
Read this: http://www.reddit.com/r/loseit/comments/oguat/tips_net_calories_why_its_the_most_important/
It tells you how to calculate net calories.0 -
It's not realistic for you since you're close to you goal weight. Any attempts to do so will cost you lean body mass.0

It look me almost a year to lose my last 10 pounds. The close you are to your goal, the longer it will take. You need to set realistic goals, and for someone who is your weight, 10 pounds is simply not something you can do in a healthy way.0

may I ask where you got that number from???? are you just looking at your body and assuming after 10lbs loss it will look better?? because weight measures your body as a whole, so instead of focusing on weight, which at this point may be hard to judge, focus on increasing your weights. Every time you visit the gym even if it's 2.5 lbs try to go up. That seems to work for me, also trying to get close to my body weight in protein, I aim for 120 grams per day. I would first focus on muscle growth, proper rest, protein intake and increasing the weight you can lift. I honestly think if you work hard to strength train you will like the results more so than just trying to lose 10lbs.
I hope that made sense as I am just having my 1st coffee of the day :drinker:0 -
