I've been on this app for a couple of weeks, and although it's great to be able to track my calories and fitness goals, I'm lacking a social circle to help motivate me on my way.
To be honest, I'm about 120lb, 5"3 with 21% body fat. Thus, I'm not seeking to lose weight, but I am seeking to shed the fat off my body and tone up my muscles. If anything, i may gain weight as muscle replaces my fat.
I currently exercise 5-6 days a week, 30-45 minute cardio and > 1 hour strength training. (Total 90 - 105 min per gym session.)
I also own the Insanity DVD set, use Nike Training Club and am almost done creating a home gym.
I have a calorie goal of <1490 a day, and my diet is clean. However, I find myself constantly snacking throughout the day, and when I don't, all I think about is food. Help! I snack because I'm bored, not because I'm hungry. Does anyone have advice on how to stop boredom snacking?
Sometimes I find myself changing my mind right before going to the gym, or losing motivation to work out on a particular day. However, when I see someone else working out, my motivation is jumpstarted again.
I'm looking for new friends who are just as determined as I to live a healthy lifestyle and desire to look and be fit. We can motivate each other through this journey! I don't diet, I eat clean. It's not a goal, but a way of life!!

you have my goal weight!
i've read a lot of people's post about eating clean and i'm really interested but don't know how to start. do you have any tips or can you tell me how you got started with it?0 -
I began over a year ago cleaning up my diet, and one thing I can tell you is that it's a LONG, HARD, but rewarding process! The best and easiest way in my opinion to get started is to simply cut out drinking your calories. This involves pop, Starbucks frappes, sweet teas, or even coffee with too much cream and sugar.
The second thing is to just swap unhealthy ingredients for healthier alternatives. For example, milk instead of cream in your coffee. Natural peanut butter instead of regular peanut butter. Whole wheat/ grain bread and flour instead of white. Low-fat milk / almond milk instead of regular milk, dry cereal instead of potato chips, water-packed tuna instead of oil-packed tuna, skinless chicken instead of the skin, and many more examples!
It's important to know that you can achieve visible, starter results not by eating less, but by eating healthy! You could start to drop the pounds while still eating the same amount of food as you did before, and work yourself to eating slightly less and less each week from there (but not too little, of course!)0
