How many inches can I lose by the end of June?

I know that the approximate healthy maximum number of pounds you should be losing per week is 2 pounds. But what about inches? Is there some way to determine or approximate how many I can realistically lose by the end of June? Especially around my waist/stomach area - right now my waist is 29.5 inches and I would love to lose some off of that by the time summer comes. I'm doing Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible as a strength training workout (there's an upper body segment) and I'm trying to watch what I eat since "Abs are made in the kitchen" or so everyone says. But is there some way to approximate? How many inches do you personally lose in some set amount of time?

There's really no way to approximate how many inches you will lose like you can with pounds. Some people lose faster than others, and it is usually the people with higher body fat % that lose inches faster. Someone with a waist of under 30" will not lose inches nearly as fast as someone who has a 36" waist, for example.
The easiest way to approximate how fast YOU will lose inches is to go on about your exercise and nutrition for 2 weeks. Take measurements both before and after. Then you can gauge future success on that 2 week success that you just had. But really, trying to figure out how much you will lose by averaging what other people have lost (talking inches here) would be nearly impossible.0
