Lose more weight by competing?

Is there anyone else out there like me who is on the other side of the motivational spectrum? As in, the one side being that some people need lots of support from others, whether the other people are losing weight or just a friend or family member, and that helps them blossom and lose weight. The other side being that some people need to push themselves and work on their inner drive, and instead of helping others with motivation and support (not saying that they're jerks about it) they need to compete with others to lose the most. (Now that I've typed that all out, I can see both sides in everyone, so spectrum is a good way to describe it haha)
To put it simply, I'm pretty sure I would lose weight like crazy if it was me vs. someone to see who lost, say, 10 pounds faster. I would be super diligent about my weight and exercise more and not play around!!!! The game to be the best is fun to me, I'm a competitive person (funny since I never did sports in school).
Like I said, I'm not trying to be better than everyone else, especially since there are some people who have rockin' bods that are absolute real-life superstars. It's more of that inner drive, fighting for my goals. When someone asks me how much weight I've lost, I tell myself that in a few weeks when they ask me again, THAT NUMBER NEEDS TO BE HIGHER!!!!!!! It's a game to me!
Does anyone else feel the same way? And how did you lose the weight? Are there any resources out there to "make" it a game, like competing against others? That would be awesome

The only way I "compete" against others is with my Fitbit. I have about 8 people on my friends list on there and try to catch up with others who have more steps than me while making sure that people with less steps in don't catch up and pass me.
As far as the actual weight loss goes, I don't think I could compete. Everyone loses differently and at different rates so that really doesn't do much for me for motivation.0
